There are also rides and a spectacular lights show. Everyone will enjoy walking through the Snowland and the Enchanted Forest. Kids can meet the Original Snow Princess and decorate gingerbreads. In Snowland, you will be able to meet the Snow Queen (now my daughter thought it was Elsa from Frozen, so I just agreed because it made her day) but it’s actually the original Snow Queen from Hans Christian Anderson. Although I never visited, Santa’s Magical Kingdom seems to be a must to add to your Melbourne Christmas bucket list. I also took my daughter on the Super Slide which was so much fun (more for me then her I think). We watched our daughter have a ball on the Tea Cups and the Elves Magical Train ride. Don’t forget to stock up on your popcorn and light swords before the show starts. We then headed over to the International Christmas Spectacular Circus Show which runs for about 40 minutes. I also took a sneaky bite when she wasn’t looking. Last year our daughter just ate all the little bits, but this year, it’s been amazing to watch her grow, and she was able to do it all by herself. Our first stop of the night was at Gingerbread Land where you are given a Gingerbread man (or women) and you are able to decorate it with some icing and lollies. The month of December and the lead up to Christmas is one my favourite times of the year and one of our new family traditions is take our 4 year old daughter to Santa’s Magical Kingdom, held at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne. ![]()
